Thirst Bistro is one of the few places in Portland where you can host your event on the Riverfront. Our floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to soak in the gorgeous river view year round.
From a swank appetizer reception to an elegant buffet to a sit down dinner, Thirst will work with you to create the perfect event customized for your group.
We have two private event spaces that both have floor to ceiling windows and a perfect view of the River and Bridges.
The River Room: Reception style for up to 55, informal sit down up to 35 with additional space outside in warmer months. Copper walls and cozy fireplace. Seating is a combination of tall bistro tables, couches and comfy chairs. Bar in room. Feels like a party in your home, but you don’t have to clean up!
The Cellar: Reception style up to 55; classroom or formal sit down up to 40 with additional outside seating in the warmer months. Tuscan style, American clay walls and a homey fireplace. Boardroom style tables that can be split to into 8-tops. Bar in room as well as private bathroom. Wine Country in the City!
A Buy Out of the entire restaurant is possible Sundays & Mondays year round and select days/evenings October – May.
Menu
Our private party menu features scratch made food with local, seasonal ingredients. Our wine list features Pacific NW wines that are food-friendly. We also have local microbrews and signature cocktails.
