Wine: We search the Pacific Northwest to find the best wines that are interesting and reasonably priced, yet diverse and eclectic. There are 25-30 wines by the glass and 60+ by the bottle and we rotate our selection frequently so you can always try something new at Thirst. We also feature a select collection from California and when we have our 'tasting battles' we bring in some foreign wines. We sell our wines by the taste, glass, flight and bottle + have bottles to go at very reasonable prices.
Spirits: Oregon is home to more than 15 distilleries. We have created a specialty cocktail and spirit sipping menu celebrating our delicious local spirits. In addition we have Scotch and Bourbon that you can sip by the glass or on our fun flights.
Food: We have wine-friendly cuisine consisting of Pacific NW-inspired seasonal entrees and starters, and desserts. Feast on our delicious pulled port, bacon-wrapped scallops, duck confit, homemade chowders, and our famous hot crab dip. We highlight unique artisinal cheeses, charcuterie like Salumi from Seattle, and antipasto sourced from the best specialty food purveyors in Portland. Thirst's focus is on high quality ingredients and we are dedicated to using local, natural and organic products and supporting local businesses whenever possible.

Our window-filled dining room and fabulous outdoor patio lets you to breathe in fresh air while you enjoy the view. Winner of many local awards and featured in national publications, Thirst is only a short walk or Streetcar ride from some of downtown’s most notable attractions. A full dining menu, 30+ wines by the glass, specialty cocktails and spirits, it’s a perfect setting for a romantic meal before the theatre, the finale of a lovely walk along the RiverPlace Esplanade or day of shopping at Pioneer Square. The ideal place to relax, sip & nibble, people watch, and take in the view of the Willamette river and gorgeous Mt. Hood.

At RiverPlace our bar is built from reclaimed 12-foot French oak vats from a domestic winery. We hope by being conscientious about our environment, it will make a difference and bring us all back to simpler times.
